
Mat based Pilates class, using small equipment, specifically designed to heal and strengthen the core and pelvic floor following delivery, stretch tight tired muscles, improve breathing dynamics and aid rest and relaxation. Babies are welcome from 6 weeks to 6 months (no crawlers!) They play in a central mat while Mums practise Pilates around them. Mums are in SOLE charge of their baby. Babies are not held or used to perform the exercises.

6-week Postnatal check by Midwife or GP required prior to joining class.
We focus on recovery from your delivery, no matter the type. Pelvic floor exercises, breathing and core strengthening are at the front of our programme to allow you to heal and prepare for motherhood and more strenuous exercise modes.
The hour long class features a warm up, standing, using functional exercises that will help with your daily tasks as a new mother.
A mat section, where different body positions are used to strengthen and stretch muscles that have worked hard throughout your pregnancy, but need time to recover to full non-pregnant strength and length again.
Finally, a relaxation section…what we all really need…focusing on YOU.
Sometimes the class is shorter, it all depends on how the babies are…they are the Boss!
